In 2017, Garfield Honey Company was started with a simple premise: help honey bees and help people enjoy what the bees produce. While the mission remains the same, the scope has changed. Today, Garfield Honey has seven apiaries (beeyards) and over 100 colonies (and growing) under its management in and around Indianapolis. Not only do we offer great local raw honey, Bee Balms and other hive products, but we also help people get into beekeeping thru classes and nucleus colony sales. Garfield Honey also works to improve forage available to our bees and other pollinators. Our product sales help support this work. We also speak publicly on and advocate for pollinator issues.
